"Why don't (insert minority group) take responsibility for crime in their community?" It's a stupid question no matter who asks it or of whom they ask it. All it is is a roundabout way of trying to validate one's one prejudices by claiming that the majority are somehow responsible for the actions of the few. Anyone can tell you it's wrong to bomb an abortion clinic or try to kill someone for producing content you find objectionable. I shouldn't be expect to release an official statement as a Christian denouncing the act. Nobody's in support of it.You want a statement denouncing it? Fine. Murder is bad. Attempted murder is bad. The people who did this belong behind bars. (And, no, there aren't good people on "both sides" of attempted murder.) Is that clear enough? Am I an acceptable voice for the collective religious community -- comprising several faiths and the vast majority of the world population -- to be able to publicly denounce the act on this world platform of GameFAQs? Why isn't the religious community speaking out about a minor headline that most of them probably haven't read. They must secretly support such extremism. The cartoons and comics had new teams and even the original concept was that the future would have ghostbusters the same way that we have firefighters and police. Just make the protagonist Egon's smarter daughter and the other team members women. Fans of the 80s movies come back for the bit of nostalgia in the cameos for the original team. We leave mildly disappointed, but it's not the worst sequel ever made. The point is that we do see it. But instead they had an all-female team in a remake and went on this tirade about how sexist you were if you didn't see it. That was just a bad idea all around. By their standards, there were a lot of sexist people out there because not many saw it. --- No it's not over til it's over and you throw away the tree. The Million Dollar Man, the Big Boss Man, Ultimate Warrior, the Undertaker, Jake the Snake, etc. Then they started shoveling out awful gimmicks like a minotaur, a garbage man (who wasn't allowed to hit people with a trash can), a hockey player, a race car driver, etc. I can only assume there was a changing of the guard as far as the company's creative team was concerned. Sometimes, the line isn't obvious. If an American police officer is a good gimmick, and a Canadian Mountie is an okay gimmick, what's wrong with a disgruntled hockey player? Whatever the case, the WWE seems scared to ever go back to trying occupation based gimmicks or larger than life personas. The most personality wrestlers get are in "tribute" gimmicks which echo superstars from the past. --- No it's not over til it's over and you throw away the tree.
